ABOUT OUR 2008 SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS:
Our camps are where children entering K - 6th grade can attend full day of activities and a perfect introduction to the martial arts.
Scheduled Summer camp activities include:
Kids yoga for flexibility, Karate for effective self defense and coordination and empowerment skills against stranger / bully encounters, Kidz cardio excercises for agility and strength, Archery (safety tipped) for accuracy and focusing, arts/crafts for creative skills. Children can also take the challenge to conquer our 14' Indoor rock climbing wall (with safety harnesses) for coordination and strength/agility. Hold on and glide accross the 35' Zip line for timing and strength. Our custom climb Peg board is a fun way to isolate muscles of the upper body. We teach basic Gymnastics using our trapezoids, octagon and balance beam for flexibilty, coordination and strength. Obstacle course races help with speed, agility, and balance. Children defend their island on Battle beam which helps the understanding of good body alignment and balance. And movies for relaxation. Children will learn skills that last a life time and have tons of fun at the same time.
(this is definitely not a daycare camp)
Its about excercise, balance, flexibilty, team support, coordination, education, strength and building confidence
all wrapped in a lot of fun.

Our students did a great job at their first and 2nd tournaments, taking home many trophies for 1st place in their divisions
and a couple 2nd and 3rd places..everyone had a great time..you guys ruled!

Classes for Children / Adults / Seniors
We are a karate studio which teaches and trains Kenpo Karate based on the system created by founder Ed Parker. Also offered are, Tai Chi classes on the yang system based on the teachings of Cheng Man ch'ing along with Chi kung breathing exercises.
Our cardio kidz program is a fun cardio boot camp type workout for kids which includes flexibility, endurance, balance and team work drills with a touch on gymnastic moves using our trapezoids, octogon and beam, as well as climbing our 14' x 14' indoor rock wall (with safety equipment) and zip line for children.

Our facility is 2000 s/f and is desgined with two
professional martial arts training floors/rooms.
One training room is open for our students for stretching here before their class and some will use this training room for practicing,workout or meditation and it can be used during our open studio hours Monday through Saturday.

We teach martial arts for self defense and are part of the Planas / Parker lineage. We teach Tai Chi according to Cheng Man Ching teachings. Children have fun in our kids cardio classes climbing our indoor rock wall and learning basic gymnastics along with an aerobic workout. Adults enjoy our Extreme cardio program for a better way to excercise and to increase their health.
