                                                                     Buckstone county aka Seabo New (DVD)
 Warden Coley (1930s B-movie cowboy star Don "Red" Barry) and his savage assistant Jimbo (karate legend Ed Parker) run the most insanely brutal prison in 1957 America: North Carolina's dreaded Buckstone County Prison. Circumstances behind bars move from intolerable torture to desperate hysteria when one of the prisoners gets wind of a plot by the warden to radically step up the vicious killing of the inmates. Earl Owensby portrays lead character Seabo; the film was shot at his studio in Shelby, North Carolina. Country singer David Allan Coe plays Reb Stock, a local bounty hunter, and also recorded the soundtrack (releasing it separately on an album under the film's title).                            This lost vintage feature film, 'New Gladiators', was filmed in 1973 & 1974 and was the pet project of Elvis Presley and Ed Parker; finally found, restored and released. The cast of this feature film reads like a 'who's who' of the martial arts. You will see Team USA fight at Wembley Stadium in London, England, and then very next day, fight in Brussels against the very best fighters in Belgium. This is not a 'how-to' video - this entertaining film features a great soundtrack created by David Crosby and Graham Nash, and is narrated by karate legend, Chuck Sullivan. 
Financed by Elvis Presley, it was released on the 25th anniversary of his death. It was found in a garage in West Hollywood in the bed of an old pickup truck, in boxes full of old memorabilia.

Additional fighters showcased in the film include Steve Saunders, Roy Kurban, Ed Parker, Ticky Donavan, Geert Lemmens and other American and European stars of the day as well as Eric Lee, Fumio Demura, all the greatest martial artist all on one DVD.
