Student Creed:

I will develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that could reduce my mental growth or physical health.

I will develop self discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and others.

I will use common sense before self defense and never be abusive or offensive.

We are a black belt school...We are motivated...We are dedicated...

We're on a quest to be our best!

(Pertains to first statement above)

In my opinion, a positive influence is what most people need these days.  If you want results you need a positive mindset. It’s the old mind over matter. There are people (negative) out there that are quick to tell you that you can’t do something or the way you’re going about it is all wrong. This may be the way some people thought in the 70’s, to feed negative influence towards a person in hopes that this person will decide to turn around and say “I’ll show him” type of attitude, but this isn’t the 70’s anymore and we know better than that now, don’t we? Some people constantly bash others to make themselves look better out of insecurity. Remember, there are always two sides of a story.  I think every child has heard a parent tell them “if you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing at all” especially if you fabricate it. It may be hard to abide by this at a young age but if you’re an adult, it may be time to grow up.

I personally have had a person in the past never really give me a pat on the back or a positive comment. All I would get is when I was wrong or should I say when this person thought I was wrong or not making the right choice, was negative comments and he would treat strangers better than someone who should have be a close friend for many years, why, who knows, the reasons could be endless. I think of myself as very creative in many areas and more of an out of the box person. When a closed minded person or a person who thinks there’s only one way tries to keep you down and fills your head with garbage, you start to second guess yourself, that’s when it’s time to move on.  So don’t let their beliefs, negative comments, egos or whatever get in your way. Surround yourself with people that you admire, honor and respect and who will give you the positive reinforcement you need. There’s more than one way to get the results your after and these type of people could be just what can hold you back from succeeding.
Rid yourself of (garbage dump thinking) people and you’ll see a
 change for the better.

 I know I did.

Believe in yourself even if others don’t.
